About Beyond the Game

Beyond the Game is a blog that explores the behind the scenes aspects of college hockey. Because JP is a longtime Boston University Terrier's fan and current employee for the as the video analyst, this blog is focused on the Hockey East Conference. However, many of the topics discussed are universal aspects of any hockey team or league, both at the collegiate and professional levels.

To put it simply, Beyond the Game attempts to dive deeper into the game of ice hockey, shining a light on the fascinating aspects that are not as obvious as whats happening on the ice. The goal is to try and help people gain a better understanding and hopefully a deeper appreciation and respect for the entire industry.
